UTSA Genomics Core

Overview of Services

The Genomics Core Facility prepares and sequences DNA libraries for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) application, including whole genomes, transcriptomes, epigenomes, and more. Our core staff has particular expertise in preparing bacterial genome assembly and mammalian single-cell genomics (extracting nucleic acids from single cells for genomic analysis). The core also offers a limited selection of instruments to qualified researchers for unassisted use.
